The album is dope but imo its not better than the proposal or pain and glory. Ransom is one of the most underrated n the game right now

I went back to listen to those two and have to strongly disagree. The Greatest Rapper Alive is better rounded, more narratives and tighter focus than his previous projects.

The proposal was nothing but bangers. Pain n glory was hit or miss but when it was good it was great. Ill keep listenin to the new shit tho.

The Proposal was on another level production wise but this album is less repetitive in concepts and subject.

Just gave the album a couple listens through, I love the album and the concept tunes, I think its kinda Masta Ace like in a way, 'True Hollywood Stories' sort of reminds me of the Biggie tune 'I Gotta Story To Tell', but does anyone think Ran's tune is a 'real' story??? Like a real celeb??? Great story telling regardless...

I thought 'JAMAL' is very relevant to alot of todays singers and rappers, like starting to bang after they become famous and in they end losing everyone etc

And 'The Quick & the Dead' I think is a fckn AWESOME concept song, I actually cant think of another tune like it, Em & Royce's 'Bad Meets Evil' springs to mind, but other than the cowboy theme I dont think theyre that much similar... I thought Ran using words as weapons and it just being a competitive battle and not an actual shootout is genius...

Its got my vote to be in contention for album of the year...
