:bawling: @ Hova Da Gawd not being consistent when the gap btwn his GOAT catalog & the next closest catalog is wider than the OP'S crackwhore mother's ashy, semen stained, period blood covered, track mark riddled legs when she's pulling a 12 hours shift taking dick for 8 Ball money behind the dumpster @ the MC Donalds where OP works as a pt-time bodily fluid bowl maintenance professional aka toilet cleaner

:bawling: @ any1 wit @ least 1 ear & half a brain cell declaring Hova Da Gawd's GOAT catalog as anything but the GOAT collection of legendary lyrics, othwerwordly prolific beats, & divine deity flows

:bawling: @ Hova Da Gawd's GOAT catalog being so epic his post prime albums shit on 99.9% of the rest of these god awful, pathetic excuse 4 rappers' discogs combined

:bawling: @ Hova Da Gawd not having the GOAT catalog when he has more classics (6) than most of these sorry ass rappers have total albums in their terrible ass careers, the GOAT 2x album (BP2), the GOAT collab album (WTT), the GOAT mashup album (Linkin Park), the GOAT unplugged album, the GOAT mixtape & the AOTY every yr he dropped a project including in 2013 wit MCHG & 2011 when he dropped AOTDecade wit WTT

this isn't the popular opinion, but oh well

MCHG, Kingdom Come, BP2 and most albums the reason considers terrible (Nastradamus, Encore etc.) aren't imo

I do think there are SONGS on those albums that are so fucking bad it's all you think about when you reminisce about the project

1. RD

2. Black album

3. Vol 1

4. Blueprint

5. Vol 2

6. MCHG

7. BP2

8. BP3

9. American Gangster

10. Kingdom Come

11. Vol 3

12. Dynasty

As far as the outliers on my list, I think MCHG was a really good album. Its clear that Jay was more concerned with the theme of each record and the overall project rather than slick bars. That rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

A lot of people feel Blueprint is his best or2nd best album but I've always felt that the Black Album was FAR superior. And Vol 1 was very close to a perfect album.

BP2 had a LOT of joints on it. WAY too many to be considered a bad album. I never got the hate for this album. Same with BP 3.

The drop-off between 8 (BP3) and 9 (American Gangster) is pretty big to me. That's where they go from GREAT/REALLY GOOD to GOOD and then to OK and then to MEDIOCRE. But I don't think Jay has any BAD albums.

I guess opinions will vary.....but imo Blueprint is the greatest album this man has ever put out....and it ain't even close.....Jay was Givin too much game on Blueprint for me to think otherwise....next closest is Vol 1....

Haters gon' hate. This is an exercise in futility. Why make a thread and say you hate half the albums? Pointless.

What? I have to like every album of the artist to even give an opinion? Doesn't make sense

4 American Gangster

5 Volume 1

6 Dynasty

7 Volume 2

There isn't a Hov album that isn't lyrically dope though he was spittin high level bars on every album technically spittin wise he kills almost every verse he raps on

Might have said this 100 times on this board. Take Jigga that Nigga off of BP and its a 10/10. Replace Hold Hovito with Lyrical Exercise and its a GOAT album contender

Agree about Jigga that Nigga but I never got the hate for Hola Hovito. That Timbo beat is banging and Hovs flow on there is crazy
