LMFAO @ Lovie Smith NOT being considered Coach of the Year and these wack ass reasons people are trying to give to explain why. the fuck are you smoking? nobody and i mean NOBODY picked this team to do shit this year, not even a winning record.
Lovie is the one that went out and personally got Julius Peppers one of the GOAT free agent signings. Lovie is the one that convinced the organization to get his former boss Mike Martz. Lovie is the one that got Rod Marinelli as Defensive Coordinator and Mike Tice as O-line coach making 3 former Head Coaches assisting him on his staff = genius move. Lovie is the one that has stuck by this Tampa 2 Defense that he helped design back with Tony Dungy and the Bucs - his unwavering faith in the scheme and knowing exactly what it needed to work (pressure from the front 4 = Julius Peppers) is paying off once again. in an era where organizations are siding with players and firing coaches - Lovie stands out as a coach with one of the longest tenures while keeping the upmost respect and admiration of the players - tell me when has a player from that team ever said anything negative about Lovie Smith? he might not be loved by all fans but he's universally loved and respected by all the players and he stays with his job on lock unlike almost every other Coach in the NFL.
plus he's an upstanding BLACK Christian family man and he still get's no love here even from the hardcore pro-black revolutionaries - SMH!!!
