I'm going to research this.

You're probably one too. That's why you were so quick to respond to it. Am I blowing your spot? lol

why people need to question one race of people helping another? isn't that what is holding people back in other areas.. why not just help for the sake of helping?

Because some people can look past color and race and do whats good for all of us, you want people to change (ie not hate you) then you lead by example. Stand and fight alongside someone and 99% of the time they will stand by you after that.

oops! scrolled past your post, but agree 100%.

I'm neutral when it comes to Mexicans.....I don't hate them but I know what those fuckers are doing in California.....I could care less if the Arizona law sends them packing.

The ignorance in this thread has reached epic proportions. I'm much too cerebral for this type of asinine buffoonery.

PEACE.

Does it exist? If it does, how do you feel about it?

I'll be the first to admit that I don't like Eminem because he's white. I feel as though he makes music, catering specifically to those that can relate to his struggles...adolescent, white teenagers. And I can't relate, because I'm not an adolescent, white teenager.

Is this racist of me? Or is it just reality?

I don't like Eminem because his voice is grating, he strikes me as a smug closet racist, and he battles with female pop singers.

The worst racism in hip hop comes from white Eminem fans. Period, full stop.

maybe because I rap i could relate to Em as an MC first.i didn't know Em was white when I heard him at first.I liked Just the 2 of us,My name is,Scary movie etc.I could relate to him being white in a black field cuz I was hip hop in the south.I think I just relate to his musical process cuz he came from the same battle background as me.It wasn't really about his color but that dude was just a ill lyricist

I have noticed that Em is not well as well received among minorities as other minorities rappers of equal or lesser talent. I had a couple songs in a mix cd when I was driving with my supervisor and a co-worker, both minorities and neither of them wanted to hear him for the same reasons as punisher__ stated in regards to his dislike of Em. I understand why Latinos/Blacks do not like Em (even though I do), but his talent should not be denied.

Depends. Do you not like EM just b/c he is white? Or is it b/c he doesn't make music that you like? And how do you view black artists who make music you don't like. do you say you don't like them b/c they are black or b/c they make music you don't like. You can just say you dont' like Em b/c you can't relate to his music i feel the same way about a lot his songs i just say oh this some whtie boy shit and skip to the next track.

I'm just gonna come out and say it... I like Eminem.. Don't see nothing wrong with liking Eminem, he's extremely talented, his old material was funny to me and clever at the same time. His new music is a bit more dark, but that may be due to the life experiences he's been through since achieving his new found stardom. I really don't have to relate to Eminem and his life struggles to like him, because everyone's life is different, everyone goes thru their own struggles and demons, some succumb others rise above. But you just can't flat out deny talent...

I really feel like he gets hated on just because he's white. At what point do we look past an artist's skin color and accept him as our own? I mean this is hip-hop, for years in the musical world, hip-hop was like that step brother you never spoke about and were ashamed of. Black sheep of the music world, we didn't even have a musical category on the Grammy's or the American Music Awards for years. But now we are accepted and we bicker in our own genre. Hip-hop is you, it's me, it's ole girl on the corner, dude in the cut, artists, producers, labels (well, some) & etc. We are our biggest supporters and our biggest enemies.

GTFOH with that we are the world Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney ebony and ivory bullshit. You actually posted that Eminem was the greatest of all time. He has talent, but it's consistently overblown by his mazungu fan base.

i don't take shit that serious. em is cool. i haven't really listened to him since eminem show. that freestyle he released recently was nice. i don't give a flying shit about the color of an artist. if you can spit, then that's it.

its funny ya'll niggas argue everyday back & forth about who can rap better. but in reality these labels dont give a fuck about who's the best rapper or what you rapping about.. only thing they care about is how they should market you & how much money they can get off you & if they need you too appeal more to a white demographic best believe you will
