I have serviced Asians (Chinese/Japanese) at my job yes they can come off as a little rude. Their English is terrible and they only speak when they absolutely positively have to. And even then I can't hardly understand what their saying. I'm sure some of their behavior is due to cultural traditions as well.
I find them to be extremely open to white people to the point to where there repeatedly bowing and smiling. Let a black dude get in their face and they hardly even treat you with any kind of dignity and respect.
