Nobody is asking to be paid for someone else work that had nothing to do with them. There are people whos ancestors were bascially the backbone of corporations that are fortune 500 companies and they got nothing for their labor.. If that happened on the here and now their would definitely be financial settlements

Well what happened when OJ had to pay for victims of a crime he was aquitted of? So why cant these companies pay relatives of these victims for actions that likely lead to an early death....

Native Americans got it the worst, and we see how many of them are living. Most got killed off, and I've never met more than two Native Americans in my life. They didn't get much of anything.

Sorry, didnt read everybody's responses so excuse me for any repetition. But yes, (some or most?) black slaves received reparations, mainly in form of land. Of course, that didnt last long and didnt help in the long run.

Asking for reparations today would be idiotic in my opinion.Too many problems to name. There are much more progressive ways to help the black population in America.

Besides that, and this is just me, I believe that if you're a man, you shouldn't depend on anyone for help. The least that you can do is work for it.

The race-riots back then were mostly to destroy our commerce, like what they did in Tulsa with the Black Wall Street riots destroying our communities.

i dont get how people try to compare the holocaust to slavery, when the holocaust was maybe ten years, and slavery was about 300.
