I'm 29, and talking about now not 1965, I'm going to school and all I hear is white history how Europeans dun this and that, I'm watching films and seeing the same thing. I'm not hearing about black history apart from slavery and then they never talk about slave rebellions. The first time I started reading about black history I was 20 years old and it made me feel proud of our achievements from the pyramids in Egypt, the powerful empires in Nigeria and Ghana to the slave rebeliions in the Americas, it's this kida of pride schools don't want to teach black children, and why should it be up to them it's down to the parents to do that for black children, schools in the US are bulit for white children.
