Earlier, I was reading articles/threads about how blacks are over represented in commercials now because companies don't want to be seen as racist or offend anyone. Then, just now I read an article on how the two Transformers characters, Mudflap and Skids, will not be in the next Transformers movie because of complaints of their stereotypical behavior in the Revenge of the Fallen. Those characters were ridiculous but I was wondering...Do you think that blacks getting offended easily is just another stereotype, an often justified response, or something else?

Ive always said that blacks are the most hypocrtical when it comes to race. Sure it can be justified because we were treated worst than anyone else for a long time so that weighs into it but let me give you some examples.

If there is a role staring a gang banger and a white gets the role, alot of us would be mad talking about well whats wrong with a black actor filling that role, theyre racist cause they put a white guy in a black guys role, Ive heard this 100s of times, I heard it durin one of Justin Timberlakes movies I was gettin my hair lined up and their was like 13 people in there agreein that he got the role because the producer was racist and that the role didnt fit a white boy.

Now had they put a black man in a movie portrayin a gangster, we'd be trippin talkin about hes racist because he made a black guy play a gangster and not something constructive. Then when someone often gets a good role, they are labeled a sellout or whatever for accepting it.

Another example is in rap when people are constantly sayin cracka this cracka that, and no one gives a shit, white people dont even give a shit. However if a white man says Nigga even if he aint being derogatory toward blacks with it, we are ready to start a full blown war.

Another example is steretypes themselves bein contributed to a whole race. If a black man see's a white guy on TV, just one, and the guys talkin about fuckin sheep and all this redneckish shit, then that person labels the whole white race as that man, you see this on the board. Everytime a white man is brought up, they are a sheep fuckin, skoal chewin, clansman who hunts and eats black people for his hobby. Now take a white man, watchin TV and see's whats goin on in Chicago or out in Cali in terms of gangs, see's how we act in rap videos, etc.. and labels those few people as a whole race, again we are ready to go cop some nuclear bombs and exterminate the white man.

We are by far the most easily offended and hypocritical racist there is. Again I guess in a way in can be justified because we were all treated like shit for 400 years, but I dont see how you can do the same thing you frown upon and think its ok. As far as some movies I can understand though cause we are overly portrayed as the gang bangin, wildin out nigga who just dont give a fuck, but the rest Ill stand behind 100%.

For me, it's never a justified response but in a very few arguments. Those 2 robots in Transformers I see but then again I don't see the complaining for as far as it got. I see too many blacks complain for the most simplistic shit or shit that has nothing to do with blacks.

But its simple shit, if I see one of us in a KFC commerical, It dont bother me, its a commercial I dont think they were like "You know Micheal? I bet if we put a negroe in our commercial it would not only attract customers but also allow us to make fun of those N1ggers without anyone realizing it".
