Africa was always divided, it wasn't that hard for the colonial countries to come in and manipulate us. As for that other shit, it's quite obvious there are self esteem issues within the community. I also think the system, particularly the school system and criminal justice system is filled with institutionalize racism. When all that is taught in school is we were slaves and white wash our history, then how do you expect kids to build esteem.
I also feel in alot of ways integration was one of the worst thing to happen to the black community as far as the school system.
