Well I would be classified as black ( African American) but I feel I'm me, my own entity, before i'm a race.

Yeah I saw the rest, but that line was funny as hell.

ok then

Yes it's true that every race has committed these acts. But the problem is a lot of these acts black people (within the community) treat as positives. Like doing some of these things make you a real nigga or black. If black people ever wanted to get serious about uplifting the community then we have to truely look at some of the negative shit WE voluntarly do as if they was positive and stop.

As i always say YOUTH CULTURE is not the end all and be all of black culture.. when young niggas and young minded niggas get off that .. and people in our community stop perpetuating the steroetype via mass media then an only then will shit be better than it is.... Also it starts at home.. parents being parents.. kids stop being.. baby daddies and mommies would be a good start too.. but.. Disney or lifetime couldnt make that movie.

you can't deny the ignorance in the black community that is sometimes celebrated or not frowned upon. some of it is due to willie lynchism, some of it is just plain ol laziness, not by nature but nurture, you have a group of people who are used to being spoon fed, not all but some, which perpetuates the negative stereotypes.

Why should I be offended? Cause I'm black? Nothing in his rant applies to me. But I do have friends and family that describes them to a tee more or less.

which is why i said ..."i guess you shouldnt if it dont apply to you"

dam how long ago was Willie lynchism? you mean to tell me that of all the historical black figures/leaders we've had means nothing compared to Willie lynch or slavery? We discredit everyone, no matter the race, that has done something to help the black race advance when crap like this is said. the "i have a dream" speech should have more of an effect on blacks than the Willie lynch letters.

Slavery was 400 years plus.. its conditioning.. systemic racism.. palpable hate.. and acts of brutality.. and bamboozling.. the practice of the things.. of the fictional or non fiction willy lynch letter have been carried out..

Wow, that was a huge load of BS.....who wrote all that? Black people worldwide have made lots of progress since white people colonized Africa. Things are slowly getting better in Africa, and blacks in the USA are doing well overall.

Black people also have invented many things, including a little thing we all call SOCIETY. Black people were the first people on earth, that's a huge thing by itself.....I won't even bother debating all the other stuff, it's too ignorant and stupid to do so.

Well said youg_reezy.

The fact remains that we were Willie Lynched for 400 years, we have been free for 100 years and we have had somewhat equal human rights for 50 years.
this thread has inspired me to create one about the white devil in case we forget about who he is what he is and what his relation to us is.

white people will be bummy all day yet have a fat bank account...they dont spend money. thats how the rich stay rich.

From Blueprint for Black Power (pp 602-604), which obtained their information from American Demographics (January, 1993) and other sources:

“Blacks spend over 75% more than Whites on boys’ clothing.”

“…money spent by Black households on boys’ clothing alone amounts to well above $1 billion.”

“African Americans are estimated to spend more than $500 million per year on McDonald’s fast food.”

“African Americans consume 32 percent of all malt liquor products and 20 percent of the scotch whiskey market”

“African American males between the ages of 13 and 24, who are less than 3 percent of total U.S. population account for 10 percent of the $12 billion athletic shoe market, purchasing more than 1 out of 5 pairs of shoes made by Nike;”

“African-American females, who equal approximately 6 percent of the total U.S population, purchase 15 percent of the $4 billion cosmetics industry, or $600 million and spend 26 percent more on perfume than any other group of females.”

Black people spend their money on the stuff that makes white people rich.

Cosign. As I tell a lot of kids I talk to, I ask them in ten years, what side of the desk would you like to be sitting on?

Yeah you should create that thread. All I know is that all MY life I have never, not once been a slave, nor have I not had options and a wide range of space to make choices. I've experiance racism from some ignorant white people, true. But there was a big period in my life I was more worried that some nigga would take my life before anyone. I've experiance more hatered from people in my own community than anywhere.
So I basicly came to the conclusion that SOME people will just not like ETHER! But a lot more will.
Its unfortunate that people within your community hate themselves and have hatred towards you
I wonder what type of factors contribute to self-hatred.
I sincerely hope that the people that hated you didnt belong to a hate group, luckily we have Hate-crime laws for the haters.
