Word Al Davis was a visionary who took the NFL from being a run and grind it out league to a vertical passing league...

Also he hired the 1st Black Head Coach... props to Al

Speaking as a raiders fan al davis been fuckin up for years...he lived a long life res in piece al but hopefully now things will turn around for the raiders.

wasnt fritz pollard the first black head coach? Al davis was old but he wasnt that old.

Well technically no...it was fritz pollard in the twenties but modern era yes 1989 art shell was the raiders coach. So basically he was the first in a very long time.

As much as I've hated him my whole life, I still respect what he meant to the Raiders and the league as a whole. With that said, part of me is kinda upset that he didn't die by my hands.
