Support my favorite rappers, so they can continue to put out music. Studio time, distribution, and marketing aint free.

I like reading the booklets, and popping in a cd in my car stereo from Best Buy.

10 dollars aint gonna kill me, i spend that on a 12 pack of beers.

Because those who download are in for a rude awakening. And if I buy a CD today, I'll still have it in 20 years

The last cd's I copped was beg for mercy and the black album cuz they came out on the same day

Dont see the point u get the same quality from them rar files and the artists dont care about you

most cds have 13-14 tracks and 2 of em be good so u payin 12 bucks for 2 good songs

Why not?? It's real easy to just hop on Itunes or Zune and simply download the whole album. But depending on the album and the artist, I like to buy the cd and listen to it from front to back at home or in my car. Because there is a feeling almost nostalgic value to listening to a cd, just like with people and vinyl. I came from an era when kids would look forward to new music Tuesday, so we can head to the mall during lunch or fresh outta class to rush to FYE or Sam Goody and buy that new Busta Rhymes CD or Missy Elliott album. Nowadays, albums aren't even looked at in the same respect. You can just skim through an album and only pay for the songs you like today. Which is why we see so many artist only making singles, and not having a full concept to their work. You can go home and look at your itunes list, and realize that you have over 15,000 songs, but only listen to less then 100 of them on a regular basis. When I pull out an album, it's because I want to listen to that entire body of work. I can do that with an ipod too, but it's real easy to get distracted with all of the other songs I may have on there. It's not even about the love of music anymore, it's like collecting baseball cards with some of these people. Download a song, play it once or twice, then it becomes a part of your never ending lists of singles then it's on to the next one.

So you wouldn't mind some of your favorite artist music becoming dull in the future?
