The pastoral epistles were written by Paul. Sorry
Bible Study time......
1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Phillistines, Phillipians, and Romans were written by Paul
Colossians, Ephesians, were written by later disciples of Paul
The "Pastoral Epistles" also were written by later disciples (1&2 Timothy, Tidus, and Peter)
How do we know this? Two words, WORD USAGE
The usage of words that occured in the first row of books were much different than the use of words that occurs in the next two rows.
I will generalise right now because the topic isn't about Paul
1) 848 different words occured in the pastoral epistles
2) 306 of those words do not occur in any Pauline letter
3) of the 306 mentioned words, 200 occur frequently in 2nd century writings
Now lets look at Ephesians
-Ephesians has roughly 100 sentences
-9 of these sentences have over 50 words
Now lets look at Romans
-Romans 1-4 has about 500 sentences
-3 of these sentences alone have over 50 words
Look, I am not hijacking this thread. You want to talk about Paul more, make another thread. Let's leave it at that.
