Hey I got a question..I started reading the bible a few weeks ago and I'm almost done with Genesis. But basically I fully believe there is a God but I'm having an extremely difficult time believing that God walked the Earth in the flesh as Jesus. I also have a hard time believing his mother was a virgin and that Moses parted seas. I really do believe in our creator but I still feel like I'm going to hell because I have doubts about Christianity. So basically what I'm saying is do you guys as Christians think God won't be able to accept me for having doubts and condemn me to eternal hell? Just curious because I can't see God condemning me for believing in Him but not entirely believing Jesus is God.

But to clarify, I do believe Jesus died for our sins and that he performed miracles.

Hi my friend. I just want to thank the Lord for you and praise His holy name! God is so great and I give Him all the glory. The Father is working in your heart my friend. He is moving because you are seeking. God said Ask and ye shall receive. What your asking for is wisdom. And wisdom only comes from God. So right now I pray to Al-Mighty God that He will fulfill His word in your life. May He open up your eyes, heart, and mind so that you can receive revelation knowledge and understanding. Lord God work with his heart. Bless His soul Holy Spirit and lead him into all truth. May your wisdom overtake his whole being so that the image of Christ can be reflected fully in his life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I love you my friend and you are on the right path. Don't let anybody tell you different. Knowing the essential truths of Jesus Christ are attained as one matures in Christ. Why? Because they that worship God must worship Him in spirit and in truth. So you will come to an understanding of Jesus Christ divinity. He is the God-Man. The Son of God and the Son of Man. Fully God and Fully Man. The Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the End. The Great I AM! By the way are you familiar with Moses and the Burning Bush?

Typical bible stuff. Really very debatable unless you live by fear of questioning. God has so much power that he allowed his son Jesus to defeat death but we have to face it every day. Why does this powerful bible God not just take death away as a option. Seems to me that the bible God is the one that created death and being that it was said in the bible that after he created all things he looked and saw that it was good he seems to care more for it than those that dont care for him. Eat of the tree and you shall surely die. The bible God used death as a tool to scare, punish, and overcome. Not liking the bible God has nothing to do with death in some minds. It has to do with someone claiming to have all this power but not using it for what they consider good.

If God has the power over death, why don't you worship God who overcame death?

At what point did I say anything about fighting against God, though? That's what I'm trying to figure out.

Forgive me my friend. It just seemed like you wanted me to stop publishing the truth.

Depends on who you ask. You ask DoUWantToGoToHeaven and he's gonna tell you yes, you're going to hell. But If you ask me, no. But what we think isn't important. Finish doing your research and find out what YOU think. Then go with that.

Either way, good job actually trying to read the Bible cover to cover before you start running ya fucking mouth about it. Salute.

The only way somebody goes to hell is if they choose to go there. Plain and simple. This is what is called free will. If your born once you die twice. If your born twice you die once.

No need to apologize. And I don't want you to stop doing anything, B. I just want to come on this board and be able to talk honestly about stuff and have people answer the questions I ask themselves without simply quoting scripture, ya know? I mean, I've read the bible cover to cover, so I know what scripture says. I want to know what YOU ALL have to say about things.

Everybody is different my brother. I just do what the Lord leads me to do. And the Lord leads me to speak His word. The reason why people get so up in arms with the word of God is because it is sharper than any 2-edged sword. It pierces to the soul my friend. We feel convicted because it is truth. I just love truth my friend. I love God my friend. And I walk by faith my friend. So it's not me, but the Holy Spirit that lives inside of me. I love you my friend. And I would love to talk about truth with you.

And what makes you 100% sure that the words of the Bible are authentically Gods teachings?

That's just jibberish, B. I don't know what you mean by that. How do you know that the words of the bible are 100% authentically God's teachings? I'm no trying to dissuade you from your faith at all, mayne. But these are the questions that I have for you.

How is that jibberish. Is light, light? Is dark, dark? Is left, left? Is Right, Right? Is yes, yes? Is no, no?

Absolute truths my friend. These are foundational to everything existing. Why? Because the Lord established the heavens with righteousness because He is righteous. He is perfect my friend. And His word is perfect. You either believe what God says or you don't. It's black and white my friend. No grey areas.

Right, but again, how do you know that the bible is an unfiltered accurate depiction of 'what God says'? See? It's a never ending circle of logic if you don't answer the question. You can just say 'Because I have faith'. That's a perfectly acceptable answer, B. But you're talking in circles. I'd like to have a serious, non-cynical conversation with you about it, unlike most of the niggas on here. But if you're gonna just speak in riddles and not address directly my very direct questions, that won't be possible.

So let's do it. I'll be here when you're ready to do so. If not, God bless you, B.

For the record, I've believed in God my whole life and I was (forced) to go to church since I was a child...I was even baptized at 5 so it isn't as though religion is new to me, I have just always had trouble believing that God walked the Earth as a man in the flesh. And yes I have heard of Moses and the burning bush, in fact my dad tried to explain that to me not too long ago. Still, I had a hard time believing the burning bush was talking to him. Spiritually maybe, but then what was the point of the burning bush in the first place??

I don't mean to get in the mix.... You are not alone in struggling to believing that Jesus was God in the flesh and if you read the gospels of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John, you will find that even those people struggled to believe. You would think Jesus's disciples would have caught on, but even they had their doubts about who Jesus was and did things that showed their lack of devotion. They were looking for something else and it compromised everything that they though he would be...which even in the end they still was doubtful. But somewhere in it all, the disciples began to see that he was who he said he was...and not what they wanted him to be.

The #1 reason is because of it's 100% track record of fulfilled prophecy. How do you dispute that?

That's great my friend. The seeds that were planted in you at a early age are springing forth today. You have a godly heritage and that is a blessing in itself.

As for the burning bush, nothing is too hard for God. God can communicate in an infinite number of ways. And beside, the bush wasn't talking to Moses. God was speaking to Moses out of the midst of the burning bush. "And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I." Exodus 3:4

So I don't see how hard it is to believe that the God we serve is super-natural. The miraculous power of God is what makes Him God. It validates His deity. He has total power over all forces. That's why He can consume a bush and it wont burn up.

Also, God revealed Himself to Moses as "I Am" at the burning bush.

"13And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations." Exodus 3:13-15

The same name that God used to reveal Himself to Moses is the same name that Jesus Christ used when He rebuked the religious leaders of His day. "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM." John 8:58

So we see here that Jesus Christ is claiming to be God because He uses the same title that God used when He revealed Himself to Moses at the burning bush, something that the Jews would have known immediately.

You see God is not just all talk and no show. So Jesus Christ displayed His deity for the world to see while He was on earth. He not only spoke like no man ever did before, He did things no man ever did before.

"The officers answered, Never man spake like this man."
John 7:46

"But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!"
Matthew 8:27

Jesus Christ showed and proved that He was the Al-Mighty. He demonstrated His power over nature when He stilled the waves and winds, He demonstrated His power over food when He multiplied the fishes and the loaves twice, He demonstrated His power over the natural world when He healed all manner of sickness and disease, He demonstrated His power over the spirit world when He cast out demons, and last but not least He demonstrated His power over the enemy of ALL mankind when He raised Himself up from the dead. Death no longer has any dominion over Him for it was not possible that death could even keep Him. So you see my friend, with many infallible proofs, Jesus Christ showed that He was God.

I pray that the Holy Spirit will take the things of Jesus Christ and make them real unto you. Because God is not the author of confusion, but rather peace. Let us have peace and fellowship one with another my friend. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

What yall gotta realize is that god is a spirit... And we (humans) are mortal...

To understand the power and awesomness of god, you have to literally have to be led by your spirit..

Of course, with thinking with our human minds, we would be like how can god talk through a burning bush and it not burn up and set the whole place on fire..

Or how did jesus walk on water?...

These are simple things to god... But when simply think with you mind, you find them impossible
