Man has the ability to do all that the mind can conceive because the mind is dirived from the soul…which is not limited by physical boundaries.
All is possible, travelling to other planets, world peace, bending time and space; anti-gravity…there is no limit.
The result of man shortfall came about when we were tricked by the “serpent” in the garden of eden. We became aware, and started placing emphasis on the physical body. Whether it was thorough the eating af an apple or the act of sexual intercourse, our focus was no longer spritual and we became shackled to the human body and the need for pleasure and self gratification.
Think about it…the bible recount that the creator asked, “who told you that you were naked?” we were naked but we never knew it…the human body was not of importance to us.
The punishment then became, the immortal soul was trapped in the human physicallity for a limited time.
When we are born the soul/mind is erased and we are limited in our knowledge to what we are taught or have learned in our lifetime. Each genertation unlocks a bit more to reaching total knowledge, so we move ffrom the “stone-age” to the “age of the computer” to interstellar flight and beyond but because we are misled by the body we always only manage to self-destruct.
Therfore, the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe is therefore by regaining the spiritual awareness we once had, by acknowleding that god exists and that we are somehow spiritually connected, that the physical body is only a temporary vessel for the soul. That we should not get so caught up with physical achievment that we are not aware that we are part of the omniipotence, the creator, the one and only, god, jehovah or whatever you conceive the diety of the unlimited power of the mind and soul to be.
We are constantly in a cycle of trying to live forever that we do not realise that everything that is now being invented was actually done before. All that we consider new technology is secrets that are being rediscovered and whenever we attain the critical level of discovery we self distruct and have to start anew…think about it,… man has tried to leave foot prints and clues of his achievement, but the proof can only be left in a physical form that cannot last forever. If i should try to leave this message for man ten thousand year from now it would not be possible. Firstly, the paper that this would be printed on would rot, the harddrive would eventually decay or be recycled or everything would be destroyed by a man-made holocast (global warming or nuclear) that is enivitable if we continue on this path.

To Simplify to Believe in God can be dumbed down to you believe that there is more to life then what we can process in our sense gates. You also tend to believe that there is a higher power or authority in which we are accountable to for our actions while living. You also could believe that you need forgiveness when you mess up, and that there is forgiveness for you. Part of the belief in God is that you belief that the state of the condition of the Human Race would greatly improve if we all shared these beliefs...toktaylor def dropped some knowledge though

True but by admitting that one believes in the God of the bible is saying you also believe to some degree our less that you believe the bible is true which goes in hand with the fantasy.

The Bible has never been proven to be a book on fantasy... both sides of the coin intend to write their opinion off as general consensus... but I think it should just be respected for what it is....
Its just something that some people choose to believe and some don't... which leaves this judgement to fall strictly in opinion... its also similar to the ufo/alien thing some do... some don't but there has been documentation throughout time none of it being linked in any other shape or fashion other than the description... some people choose to only believe in what is limited to their 5 senses... some don't

Reality is very much subjective... its our man-made calculation based upon what we place a comfort(limiting) box in what we believe is possible and what is not possible.... this is not much of a help as we are shown as human beings that not only are we powerless to the reality of the world... we are limited in our control of it
Dreams that happened exactly as dreamed are not really reality either until we experience it and it becomes real to us... alot of the technology we have is not reality to ages of the past... if you were able to freeze someone and unfreeze them in this time period... they would have to adjust to the reality that has severely changed....
We do the ancient times a great disservice, especially with such buildings as pyramids etc are still beyond our scope of technology to even figure out how they did it... to write them off as fantasy... when historical evidence gives clues that there not only is a great variance in the reality of then and now, but theres something beyond the entire human race's intelligence....

I like your second paragraph do you major in philosophy? We do do the past and injustice in our own understanding of past events, but the bible does reek of fantasy. From men living to be thousands of years from survivng in a whale, to a virign giving birth. Can I disprove all these things didn't happen, of course not, but throught our understanding of what we know today believeing in such things to have truley occurred is ludicrous
