it's what you make of it. how you deal with your existential crisis is up to you though. You condemning everybody who doesn't conform to some sort of religion though is close minded, but ignorance is bliss as they say.

I wouldn't say I'm scared to die, but I do consider death a necessary inconvenience of nature. There's still shit I want to do and death would get in the way of that. But other than that, I'm just waiting on the ending.

A better question is why be scared to die when heaven is such a wonderful place?

Well firstly not every religion has an opinion of an afterlife.

Secondly, how does belief in a soul equate to living for a purpose? Thats in the same vein of bullshit when Christians are on that "if you don't believe in god you don't have a moral compass!!" bullshit.

I wake up and enjoy living and thats enough motivation to keep living. I don't' need devotion to a tyrannical deity or having kids or whatever to keep me going.
