All of the older generation on my mother's side are still married. Yes, I know some of the men cheated back in the day and one of my aunts was separated for a while. They're still married though and are together again. A lot of the younger generation on my mothers side are married too, including my older sisters. Although my parents are still married, I don't know my father's side of the family that well. But there are more illegitimate children and at least one divorce on that side.

Parents got divorced when I was two..........pops had drug problem
Pops got remarried twice......Just bad picks they never really clicked
Aunts and uncles.........the ones that got married are still married
Wife side.......they are very religious.........out of 17 kids(mom and pop side) two got divorced

Mom & pops divorced when I was 6. Neither remarried, but moms might soon ***kanye Shrug***

My older brother is happily married...for now anyway!!!

My older 1/2 brother is happily married to my cousin on my moms side, but they've only been married for a year & 1/2 so their still in the honeymoon phase.

My mom had 3 brothers. 1 married but died when I was 2, 1 got divorced and remarried, and the other remarried after his 1st wife passed.

my dad has 4 brothers...2 divorced w/ children, 2 never married but have children (all adults now)

My closest male cousin on my moms side got married @ 22 back in 06 and he & his wife are currently legally separated. After they meet the required 1 year waiting period in NC they're going to seek a divorce. I have a couple of cousins on my dads side who are married but I havent spoken to or seen them in a while. Judging on the way the men in my dads family are I wouldnt be surprised if their marriages are hanging on by a thread.

Pops divorced my mom, both of my brothers are going through divorce right now because their wives switched up on them after they got married and started accusing them of cheating and my closest cousin up in Chicago who got married a year ago is on the brink of divorce too. Dude said as soon as he put a ring on ole girls finger she got all lazy and didn't want to help him with the bills, dude is coming home at 9 at night from a 12 hour shift and the chick can't even cook him dinner. I'm convince if i was to ever get married i would fall into the same trap as them, i would say a good 90% of the niggas in my family are divorced or on some fuck a marriage shit, even my friends have that outlook. Chicks we know stay asking about when we are gonna settle down nonsense, i'm like why, what's the point of settling down to settle down, it's not like i have a biological clock.

well the only person in my family to ever get a divorce was my grandmother and she divorced my grandfather before she moved to America...everybody else in my family, including my parents, have been together for a long ass time...my parents been married for 30 years, my grand parents and great grandparents on my mom's side were together from their teen years til they passed away and my uncle's are both married with kids...the marriage track record in my family is pretty damn good
