I'm talking about the guys in your family? When i think about it, damn near every nigga in my family is divorced and vow to never marry again. lmfao

Pops divorced my mom, both of my brothers are going through divorce right now because their wives switched up on them after they got married and started accusing them of cheating and my closest cousin up in Chicago who got married a year ago is on the brink of divorce too. Dude said as soon as he put a ring on ole girls finger she got all lazy and didn't want to help him with the bills, dude is coming home at 9 at night from a 12 hour shift and the chick can't even cook him dinner. I'm convince if i was to ever get married i would fall into the same trap as them, i would say a good 90% of the niggas in my family are divorced or on some fuck a marriage shit, even my friends have that outlook. Chicks we know stay asking about when we are gonna settle down nonsense, i'm like why, what's the point of settling down to settle down, it's not like i have a biological clock.

Well in my families younger generation we have 4 married couples myself included. thats from like 20-30. In the older generation the only married folk is my uncle that is a preacher and my aunt. Everybody else is divorced and seeing someone or just outright miserable.

If i ever get divorced i doubt ill ever get married again till im really old and its for the kids.

With my family just about everybody is still married excluding those whose spouses passed away... Grand parents on my dads side are still married...My grandfather on my moms side passed away. My mom and dad are still married. All of my aunts and uncles that married are still married with the exception of one that divorced a long time ago. My cousins that have married are still married. My brother and his wife are still married. My sister in laws parents were still married when her father passed away...And my boyfriends parents are still married....

So looks like everybody is doing pretty good

My parents aren't together anymore, and haven't been since I was about 2. My mom has been married to my stepdad since I was about 4, and had 2 more children. My Dad never remarried or had anymore children. Everyone on my Dad's side are still married, my Mom's side is kinda screwed up....most were never married, but had chidlren.

For my older brother, his stupid ass wife is some religious nut who said she had a dream of him cheating one night and then she decided to file for divorce. My brother is one of them go to work and come straight home type of niggas and read till he goes to bed, he aint fucking no bitches.

My other brother, is like me and my pops, we just know alot of women and are friendly, not on some fucking shit. But his wife knew that though, anyways her dumb ass got jealous and she let some older dude with money get into her head and cheated on my brother. Bitch came back crying and tried to repair the relationship, he pretty much cut her loose and sold all his shit and gave her the money to take care of his daughter until he stabilized himself.

For my cousin, dude got married last spring on the west side of Chicago. My cousin is one of those cats who is ambitious as fuck, and he just works to take care of his daughter and so on. Dude has his own house, cars,etc and had a good job, he had a son with ole girl and did the right thing for shawty and married her. As soon as he married her he said she doesn't clean up the house, doesn't cook,etc and he is coming home at night cooking dinner, keep in mind she is a teacher and teachers hours aint that bad or demanding. Ole girl got what she fucking wanted (the ring and wedding) and switched up, and to think she was tryna push her sister on to me at the wedding. lol

That's how it is in my family too, i have over a 100 first cousins from my mothers side of the family, i don't know them all though. The men in my family will have a whole other family or side pieces on the side, that's why i have to be careful when i go to Jamaica and make sure i don't fuck with one of my female cousins, my uncle almost had a situation like that. lmfao Those old school cats were cold as hell, the would have a whole other family in the same neighborhood and no one talked about it, i even have cousins who are pastors/preachers who have hoes all over the place.

my two oldest uncels they got married in the 60's and they super old fashion with their shit, they had the stay at home wives thta were home makers, and never questioned shit their husbands did.. them niggaz ran the streets heavy while the wives stayed home and were submissive their whole lives....

moms...she's been married twice.....first when she first graduated outta highschoool back in the 60's... her shit woulds been good, but she wasnt the homemaker type of wife, she worked as well, and it drove her husbands momma crazy....word they got along fine, but in the end it was his momma's influence that fucked that marriage up....

my mother vowed to never ever play that kinda role in any of my relationships.....so far she's held true to it...

her second marriage was cuz our church at the time talked her into thinking that i needed a father figure....

that niggaz was turrable...he ain't last at all.....dude just lucky i was too young.....
