Well I'm young so I was a fan of whoever my dad was rooting for for years.. he was a niners fan since he knows Jerry rice personally.. when got old enough I was torn between the titans and ravens since I had met Steve mcnair when he was@ alcorn and Alot of my family are Alcorn grads .. but I became a diehard ravens fan when Steve ended up wearing purple..that sealed the deal for me.. didn't watch college football like that til I started getting recruited

its one thing to appreciate the game and like the teams that are cooking but some niggaz if faggots and forget that liking players skills and being entertained by watching them play, doesn't mean you have to abandon your team.
we all played ball growin up, and every nigga knows they find a pro they usually tried to emulate on the courts. that shit is no different from liking the best players in the league. but keep in 100% and ride or die wit ya squad.
the biggest dickriding shit in nyc is the 90s niggaz that pulled the "i'm a jordan fan" (who the fuck wasn't) then turned to full fledged bulls fans.
that bullshit right there is why u have niggaz from nyc sayin they never fucked with the knicks. cuz in the 90s the bulls and jordan fucked em up every other year.
the age old dickriding in nyc continues. when mike went out they fled to LA, they flirted with wherever t-mac was for a few but went back to kobes nuts, then the nba told em lebron was next and they ended up in cleveland (should out to the few dickriders that went to philly for iverson but can't name 5 players on the roster today)
u know where they went from cleveland....boston lol we had niggaz in the park shoutin out RONDO!!! and fakin celtic love before ending up in miami.
long story short, casual dickriding fans don't know the difference between liking players/supporting players and being loyal to their team.
nyc has another team, so as a nyer i'ma show em love, but if u a real new york basketball fan you love the knick reality show and annual heartbreak

i'm not a fan of any nba team, but i'm a cowboys/UF football (is from florida & followed emmitt smith) & unc men's basketball fan because of my mom.
It's fucking hilarious when people always shout out Cowboys fans as being "bandwagon"...niggas ain't won a title in damn near 2 decades, but somehow gets bandwagon fans? Nah some of ya'll niggas just love hating because losing for 20 years doesn't give you much to bandwagon on

Brooklyn born and raised. Knicks will always be my team. I copped a Nets hat but it's the one that doesn't say Nets it only says Brooklyn and New York on it lol. Fuck the Nets and Joe Johnson for saying they're better than the Knicks.

Im from NY and I was a Heat fan before LeBron got there....sue me....with that said, I enjoy the sport most of all and can appreciate what other players and teams bring to the table....i respect the whole "ride or die" mentality as far as going for your home team as well....since i dont consider myself a rooting-for-whoever-is-hot fan nor would i limit myself to who i truly want to root for, i respectfully choose not to follow those rules tho :-??

Born in Cali (raised in A) I cheer Lakers, 49ers, and Yankees...Yanks had so much swagger. I cheered for the braves pitching but I always wanted the yanks to win the title.
