This actually sounded better than I though it would, based on production. I just can't take Pusha T's voice and lies for an entire album, or even a full song.

I'll never understand why ppl say 'too many features' about albums when half of the features are hooks/r&b singers.

It's usually a sign that the rapper isnt good at writing hooks because that's typically what r&b singers do when they feature on rap songs

This joint sounds to me like it may actually be hot.....but this is the IC where everything that drops ppl call a disappointment no matter how good it actually is so guess we'll have to wait and see

Like what??

manga sharta was a disappointment, Yeezus, hall of fame, BOATS 2, the list goes on. Can you ride to a few tracks on above mentioned items? Yes. Does that mean it's a solid album? Nope. I am a fan of pusha and the clipse but I really think this shit will underwhelm.

Ima check dis out, I'm expecting greatness with his shit talking, and he might have a lotta singers for hooks but that shouldn't discredit him he's not exactly know for making strong hooks himself

What makes a album a non disappointment??? Maybe if you went into listening to the albums released this year with the mind state that they were gonna redefine the rap game then I guess I can see why you'd be disappointed as for me I'm just looking to hear good music nothing more nothing less and if I get more great if I don't I'll just listen to somebody else to find it....I just find it hard to believe that on the IC EVERYTHING that isn't underground or involve nas is a disappointment like NOBODY has released a good album

The singers or features don't necessarily write the hooks or w.e. contributions to the track though, the rapper may have done it but realized it'd sound better w/ someone else performing it. 50, Drake, Ja, etc. got criticized for having too many melodies or singing but as you can see, it's a double edged sword. At the end of the day, it's about delivering the best product & the truth is 'fans' are bias w/ the 'too many features' comment -- look at MBDTF ( Kanye ), generally regarded as a dope album w/ no mention of all the features. You could argue it wasn't his debut but even College Dropout was feature heavy. Now if the features outshine him on every track, that'd be different but until you've heard the full album then it's as useless as judging an album based on the cover art & tracklisting.
