lol I saw that focus made this topic and was expecting some supreme hating. All I got was "Looks terribad." Anyway, by all accounts of people who've actually used it, the experience is pretty awesome. It still remains to be seen if they can actually make it a success. I'm skeptical though.

I thought Sony would've made a better game to demo this.

It's a concept demo. It's only supposed to demo the concept. That's it. They have their own teams and other companies working on real games. Why would they put major resources into making a tech marvel of a demo, when they can make something simple like that to introduce the system and then use one of the retail games they are working on to really show off what it can do.

I know what it is you fucking putz. I just don't see why they chose that wack demo to advertise their product. Could've easily used something better.

Barrier to entry seems to high.

1. PS4

2. PlayStation Camera

3. PlayStation Move(s)

4. Plus, Morpheus

lol @ "This makes perfect sense. This is what the future's gonna be like".

And that dragon looked like it escaped from a PS2 game.

Honestly can't see them putting this up on the E3 stage. Not in this state. Seems like it would be a disaster. I think the whole point of this demo was to avoid E3.

If you knew what it is then you wouldn't have made that comment, idiot, because concept demos by definition are very low grade. Again, there would be no point in pouring a lot of resources into a concept demo when they are currently working on actual games to promote it. The only thing these demos are designed to do is give people an idea of what the system is capable of, and everyone but you seems to understand that given no one that reviewed those demos are making that comment.

You could be right. We'll have to wait and see though. It seems like a the PS4 cam has sold pretty well, and a lot of the Morpheus games are supposed to use the DS4 instead of the Move controller, so it really all depends on the cost of the Morpheus. But I honestly can't see that being all that affordable even by itself.

This whole Vr gaming shit is corny

These tech companies are getting desperate. All these gimmicks they've been trying to push on the consumers that have already failed before: from 3D to now VR. It failed in the 90's and it'll fail now. Are people really going to start strapping on head visors and start rocking their head about in their living room or bedroom like some kind of mental patient? Video games long held (and still holds) a reputation of being an anti-social activity; this just seems to push it further in that direction. I honestly can't see this gaining mass market appeal.

Concept demos don't have to be low grade and Sony didn't have to use a low grade demo. They are more than capable of making something look good. I just don't see why they went with that lame game. Stop capin', stop lyin'.

lol You don't know what you're talking about. Again, the point of concept demos is not to promote the Technology. Those demos have been around for months. Sony used them to introduce people to the tech. They aren't using them to promote it. They haven't really even started promoting it yet, but hey do your thang. Again, you can go read reviews. There are plenty of negative things people have brought up about the early build so there is definitely room for criticism. But no one is saying what you're saying because everyone understand that would be a stupid statement to make. But carry on, that type of thing is common on this board.

So putting it on the biggest late night show in America is not promoting it? Aight bro I got you.
