The thing niggas forget about Snoop and Dogg Pound's New York, New York video is that the part with them stomping on the buildings wasn't even supposed to be the video.

What happened was Snoop went to NY to shoot the video and went up to Hot 97 (Tim Westwood can verify this too) to try and ask all the NY rappers to come down to the shoot but they wouldn't let him.

After that Biggie went on the air and made that statement on the radio about how he couldn't believe Snoop, Dogg Pound and 2pac (even though he wasn't there) shooting a video in NY and that's when Snoop and nem got shot at.

After they got shot at they still hadn't filmed all the scenes yet so for safety reasons they had to go back to Cali and that's when they added those parts in. I'm pretty sure they took them getting shot at as niggas in NY wanting some kinda war.
