I just hope that once they start releasing it it's more of a "this shit is amazing music and needs to be heard by everyone" and less of a "you like dead musicians?! we got dead musicians! we got em with other dead musicians! we got em with modern artists! and we got em with whoever paid the most to be on this overproduced bullshit! give us your wallets!"
You know what? I don't want to hear it. The way I see it, if the unreleased music was any good he would have released the best songs and the songs that weren't that good would have remained unreleased.
If they let Eminem remix Prince's music I'm going to go on a rampage and shoot up a church.
I don't mind unreleased stuff, I kinda like it especially if it's untouched.
but Prince is different. He almost didn't release the Black Album after he finished it, and only did because the label forced him. I think he could have some real gems hidden away.
Well I remember hearing that he built a studio in his house. This was back in the 1980s. They said he woke up every morning and made a song (he played all the instruments and recorded and engineered it himself). So that's a song every day since the 1980s.
I think its reasonable to assume that if any of those songs were hits he would have released them and that some of those songs were duds which is why they never saw the light of day. In other words, the reason we didn't hear the duds is because he didn't want us to hear them. I respect that. If those songs are rough drafts and/or weak ideas we should respect him by not releasing it to the public.
If he wanted those unreleased songs to be heard, he would have released them.
And I'm serious about making sure Eminem doesn't remix the unreleased material. If they let Eminem remix 2Pac's unreleased material who is to say they won't let Eminem remix Prince's unreleased material?
I say we sign a petition so Eminem doesn't remix Prince's unreleased material. I know it sounds ridiculous, but Eminem remixing Prince's music would sound more ridiculous.
STFU. ....how you jumping out the window thinking em is going to remix anything Prince related?
When was the last time you seen or heard about them in the studio working on music? When have you ever heard Prince and em name in the same sentence before your dumbass post ......stop it 5
You need to thank Prince for writing "I Feel For You" for Chaka Khan ......that jam got your super washed hero Melle Mel a Grammy
1. When was the last time you seen or heard of Eminem and 2Pac working in the studio prior to Loyal To The Game?
2. When have you heard Eminem and 2Pac's name in the same sentence before Loyal To The Game?
Nevertheless, for some reason Eminem remixed 2Pac's material for Loyal To The Game which is the absolute worst album ever. Even Biggie Duets was better than Loyal To The Game because Puffy is a better remixer/producer than Eminem. Not saying Puffy should touch Prince's music either but, well, Loyal to the Game was pretty bad.
