i never understand the thinking behind gastric bypass. so the surgery makes it impossible for you to over eat, and then you loose weight. couldn't someone just exhibit some self control and eat less, then no need for the surgery. why would you mutilate your insides when there's a much simpler way to go about things. the number of people i see at work who've died from obesity related causes is just staggering

What you consider simple may not be that simple for other people. I look at alcoholics and think "well just stop drinking"... but it's not that simple.

With that being said, she's looks terribly unhealthy and surgery may be the answer because desperate times call for desperate measures

yeah if ur jennifer hudson or even monique, but precious? its either go on the biggest loser or surgery. if not u will see her on the news 5 yrs from now being cut out her bedroom and rushed to the hospital. and yes i know there are risks but she's riskin her life everyday just being that size.

but i will agree those should be a last resort especially w/ her being in hollywood she has acces to all the personal trainers and nutrionists she could dream of. but unfortunately she seems contet w/ her size.
