How high do you set your expectations? I think at the end of the day, we all do that w everything and it becomes easier to critique. We are all too picky.

Myself included.

But I truly see nothing wrong w the movie so far, sure here and there we can find why we don't like it; Goldars looks for example.

But the overall look and feel, feels right. It's a modern day Power Rangers. The idea of their suits and super powers is GOAT and makes sense as to how they can get down the way they do.

I don't think anyone's standards are low at all. We are surprised it looks this good.

I just thought the trailer was pretty booty to put it nicely; movie looks like GENERIC SUPERHERO MOVIE #1,238 which to be fair to it it probably is, but hey more power to ya for finding it appealing or whatever.

I Get what's being said though, it does structurally look generic as hell

1st act - discover powers, learn to use powers, have simultaneous victory and then defeat in initial fights

2nd act - learn how to work as a team to defeat the bigger power who then comes back at them with the zords

3rd act - fight off coupled with the set up for the sequel (green ranger appearance)

well damn there every episode of the show is

1. rita makes new monster and lets it loose

2. power ranger address with issue and morph

3. monster becomes giant and pr use megazord to defeat.

end of episode..

but i will say the follow up will prolly have the different story archs like the Green Ranger storyline. But this movie is for MMPR die hards so ofcourse we are pumped but i get it if you werent.

cool thing i noticed is this movie is basically the first ever episode of power rangers if yall noticed too....Rita returns and lets Goldar run the streets.
