‘Power Rangers’ (2017)

First act was good, second act dragged like shit third act was cool too. Remove was decent good stepping stone for the franchise

Second took too long for them to get the suits. Then they quickly get it then boom . Only really complaint tbh. The acting is eh. Expected that with mostly nobodies . But what I did like that this movie wasn't too serious. Still had decent funny overtop moments like the show lol

The movie before they morph is still good like somebody said in a review its like a Michael Bay movie that actually has solid character build and emotion. Honestly I didnt get bored at all during the 90 something minutes of no morphing, I was actually invested in what was going on.

They look much better in the movie than they do just getting a glimpse in the trailer or pictures.

Yeah I was actually surprised at how good they did the origin story. I like the fact they weren't already life long friends and they actually had to build up to knowing each other some. I couldn't have been the only one shocked at the amount of "adult" jokes and cussing though? Never thought I'd hear the word "bullshit" in a Power Rangers movie lol.

saw it last night. it was funny but overall it was paced kinda poorly. I felt bored a few times during it. They didnt morph til like the damn last 30 mins of the movie. there apparently is a post credits scene but honestly i was so burnt out by that point i couldnt wait for the credits. And rita was pretty wack too, she was like a freakin zombie queen, shit didnt make no sense. Wasted potential, ahh well.

apparently the post credit scene introduces tommy oliver so green ranger will def be in part 2 if there is one

hopefully its better than this since the whole movie wont be setting up their origins.

I said either this or Ghost in the Shell would surprise people.

Guess GITS will do just that!

3 different schools in 3 years....she's bound to do something different this isn't the very friendly power rangers we grew up on they made it have a twist on it which is cool

That's why I wasn't expecting homerun. Got the origin out the way, now they can make it better

I thought the movie was pretty good and better than I expected...it didn't feel like they took long to morph because the character development was pretty good (Pink Ranger can get the D) only thing I didn't like was Rita Repulsa's over acting and how they didn't really explain how they transformed into the Megazord...her horror elements was cool tho....movie was pretty gritty and adult oriented for the most part
