‘Power Rangers’ (2017)

saw it last night. it was funny but overall it was paced kinda poorly. I felt bored a few times during it. They didnt morph til like the damn last 30 mins of the movie. there apparently is a post credits scene but honestly i was so burnt out by that point i couldnt wait for the credits. And rita was pretty wack too, she was like a freakin zombie queen, shit didnt make no sense. Wasted potential, ahh well.

apparently the post credit scene introduces tommy oliver so green ranger will def be in part 2 if there is one

hopefully its better than this since the whole movie wont be setting up their origins.

I said either this or Ghost in the Shell would surprise people.

Guess GITS will do just that!

Yeah, poor pacing was one of the problems with the film, besides the writing and the overusage of CGI. I get it's suppose to be a blockbuster and they wanted to go all out with the budget, but sheez. The Megazord fight was pretty cringey to watch.

I actually liked the casting once they began to talk; Billy stood out the most. Trini and Zack suffered from bad character development though. Hollywood can never get things right man. Should've just combined two-three episodes in a movie where they fought a few villains from the show before Rita showed up to promote good character development and pace, then have the battle with Rita at the end.

I like it but I didn't love as much as I wanted to. Only turn off was some of the stuff was shoehorned for nostalgia

That would have been putting too much into the movie to have them fight multiple villains..especially since a good part of the movie is them getting to actually know each other because they aren't already life long friends like in the tv show
