y'all get actual paper results in america? in canada, if they don't call you, it means you're negative, when they do call, it means they're calling to schedule an appointment for treatment

i found this out the first time i had a pap, it was like 2 weeks and i'd still not heard from the doctor, so i call and that's what they told me. i've never been called back ever, so i'm in the clear i figure

why does a married woman do std tests, if i may ask?!?

and i never did one nor do i plan to ever do one, if i really have to take it there, i will take a time out and re-evaluate my lifestyle. normal people dont fall under std risk groups last time i checked...

if u have sex u fall under a risk of getting a std... normal people have std...

stop wafflin some bullshit nigga...

the chance for normal people to catch an std are as high as catchin the bird flu.

Increased risk:

- Having multiple sex partners

- Injecting drugs

- Having a history of one or more STIs

- Male homosexuality

I wouldnt consider any of these 4 points normal, if you do, fuck your life.

u must be a virgin... thats the ONLY normal person who cant catch a std... thats middle school knowlege tho.. cuz u can cattch a std out the gate wit yo 1st partner.. one in like 4 people have a std... so u saying only 75% of the population is normal? rather people on here wanna admit it or not but there are PLENTY of people on here that has caught a std... they may have got cured depending on what it is but they caught it.. u dont know what people got goin..

those are people that are at an increased risk, doesn't mean they are the ONLY ones at risk. no doctor will ever tell you that you have 0% risk for getting an std when you are having sex, even with just one person. having sex, even protected sex, exposes you to stds. being responsible certainly lessens the risk, but it doesn't completely get rid of the risk.

i didn't catch feelings, you're the one who quoted me with your snide insinuation and asking questions i already answered. i'm glad i could properly inform you tho

dear @kai, i am very aware of the meaning of the word increased and moreover did i explicitly mention that there still is a risk for people outside these groups. moreover was the question why you did an std test at the point of the discussion i asked it, unanswered and absolutely legit.

anyway i still thank you for contributin to this thread in your very own "i'm always havin the last word" kai-esque way.

bottom line @kat, @iheartcali, @damobb and everyone else, who is worried about catchin stds:

if you dont fall under the risk groups, there are 20 other things you should get tested for before even bein worried about stds. get tested for diabetes, get tested for breast/prostrate cancer, get tested for heart problems, get tested for hypertension, get your kidney tested etc before you even worry about catchin an std, because the risks for these problems are much higher for people that are not part of the risk groups.

interestingly though i never saw someone makin an diabetes thread though and i doubt people would even click it...

if you do fall under the std risk groups, dont leave it at the test, reconsider your whole lifestyle.

the reason people worry bout getting tested 4 an std is because it effects u faster then getting tested 4 the other things u mentioned also unlike the other things u mentioned u dont pass it to other people... and again what does your lifestyle have 2 do with catching a std? u can be the " best" person in the world and do all the responsible things u need 2 keep safe and it can still happen...

Nah. I got tested back in March. A nigga clean as a whistle. Had gonnorhea once back in like 08 or 09 though.

Just a handful.

What's up bae bae you don't be on here as much anymore

Lotta changes in my life the past year. But I still have time for a few posts here and there.

That's good but I know a lot of folks from the previous IC stopped posting after this upgrade but I think I'm going to slow my time down on the IC as well I think this is my last yr on here. 4 yrs is enough for me and its not as interesting as it used to be.

I can't say exactly how much longer I will be, but probably not much longer either.

That's pretty much how it is with me.

You totally missed my point, maybe intentionally I don't know. But it's whatever.
