Oh wait you don't know what I'm talking about probably because it's not an accent to you lol. It's only an accent to me.

Basically LOL. It just sounds that way b/c we say every letter/sound of the word whereas other parts (s=the south for ex.) certain parts of a word get elongated or left out. I never really noticed it myself until I moved down south & went back home for thre 1st time.

U know what I mean LOL (it sounds like we say every letter compared to down south. I've only ever been those 2 places in my life so thats all I can compare). Actually I just realized what u were talking about like 5 minutes ago. I was asking my pops if he had any barber powder & I realized it sounded like powda LOL. When you've been doing ur whole life it doesnt really register.
