Not saying it's a bad option, explain why it ain't though.

I figure if you the type to like to drive a new car every couple years , leasing is a good option

Planned Obsolescence...

In a nutshell.. After the warranty is up.. These cars tend to become a money pit. And the way cars are built today that will only become more of an issue going forward.. Reason being.. Forced induction (Turbos) & all the electronics that are built into modern cars.. So for a high end luxury car.. Even if you buy it used. You're still paying maintenance on a 100k car.. That is without even factoring depreciation of owning these cars.. When you factor in depreciation. You almost always come out ahead.. Especially when buying from the larger automakers who have their own financing.. I learned the hard way.. But the leasing game is a pretty nice bet.. Especially if you own your own business you can right off the payment and damn near drive these cars for free.. Some game for those who find it useful.. I literally lost at least 50k before I realized there err in my ways..

@BOSSExcellence you ever test drove/been in the new Maserati Quattroporte? I love them thangs...that's gonna be my next car (lord willing lol)...i love the Bent too but see the way my bank account is set up lol...the Maserati is def doable in bout 2-3 years if my IRA keep progressing like it has been. How did you like the Jag...my pops got the old pecan s-type and he stay bitching bout repairs...jags always seem like the worst out the big 4 (benz, beamer, audi, jag)....they don't seem like they run as good as they look.

The over-engineering of the luxury cars is nice to have while they're new, but since the tech is fresh, it is bound to have issues down the line.

Being able to buy and own are 2 diff things.

All the Germans using that twin turbo design for smaller displacement and more power, but I wouldn't want to pay to replace the turbo bearings when the interval comes up.

To me it depends on how long u plan on keeping the car.

Want to ride it till the wheels fall off - buy it

Are you going to want to upgrade when the design changes - lease it

take that, take that..

cats also need to understand that it is possible to make money in the leasing game... whether you buy a car or lease it you are paying that depreciation, the difference is with certain vehicles that residual value can end up being higher than the actual value when you turn in that lease. any positive difference between the negotiated residual value and the actual value is yours to keep. straight cash homie. /mauce

Yeah the diagnostics and electrics on cars like Range Rovers for example are a nightmare, I got rid of my Range Rover as the warranty was coming to an end, they are notorious money pits. I never keep any daily driver without a warranty its too risky... You always get a good warranty when you get a highend car anyways...

@T.Taylor

I'm gonna trade my base ass model in November for an RT so I'm just wondering

how's the entertainment/power and MPG (I know it aint shit but wassup)

The gas mileage in the city is terrible i aint go lie...but i have heavy feet so i stay taking off.Highway it gets like 25mpg pretty good for a 5.7 v8 but i knew that when i bought it so i just eat that bill and gas up when i need to.If you cant afford the weekly gas amount and insurance keep your 3.6 and just get it tuned....end of the day its still a v6 but i been in a sxt and they haul ass too.....
