all i know is that show was cut way too soon. I mean, is it beyond possibility to think it couldve had that Seinfeld run?
Martin's show was right in the thick of the 90s era and its impact on pop culture. The story could've evolved with them eventually having a child or something then you got to see Martin as a parent. Idk, but between Martin, Living Single, NY Undercover..FOX had a high that they've been chasing ever since.

Nah I don't buy it.
For one, her album dropped in 1992, and the suit came out in 1996-97. Why would she wait 4 years to drop the suit, if it was retribution for not letting her do a promo run for the album? Next, Fox during that time was the haven for Black entertainment; practically all their shows had cameos/music spots for mad Rap and R&B spots. Her promo could have been written into the show. I mean, Ashley from Fresh Prince dropped an album while on the show.
It's a nice theory, but there's too many holes in it.

And in the last two seasons it did look like martin was high his eyes would be kinda bloodshot ..or maybe he was just stressed
