**Possible NFL SALARY CAP CaSuAlTiEs** by Division/Team

Out of these players, here's the ones I wouldn't mind seeing in a Falcons jersey next year:

Terrence Newman: (nickleback. vet minimum): Contrary to popular belief, nickleback is the reason we got scorched against Green Bay, not safeties or starting corners.

Will Allen (Nickleback, vet minimum.) Same as Newman.

Ladanian Tomlinson (3rd down back/ Vet minimum.) Turner gets gimpy around mid-late season and we might lose Snelling, and Ladanian would be the perfect compliment to Turner and Joaquiz Rodgers.

Alge Crumpler (blocking TE/2nd/3rd string) BRING'EM HOME! Alge just don't look right in a Patriots uniform, and he's one of the players I would hate to win a championship WITHOUT. With Gonzo collecting social security and our young TE's being question marks, Alge could at the very least be a good running-down blocking TE (like he was in N.E.) and tutor our youngins.

ummmmm not to knock you bruh but Demeco Ryans? That nigga is the defensive captain. Him and Matt Schaub have been leading off season workouts.

Walter and Wade Smith are not going anywhere either.

Slaton maybe...Okoye will come off the bench.

Our starting MLB Peterson has been leading our offseason workouts defensively and he's an unrestricted free agent. That don't mean much when the suits start wheeling and dealing. "Loyalty" ain't shit when it comes to the salary cap.

Every year there are "sacred cows" that get slaughtered come salary cap time. And honestly bruh, Andre Johnson is the only player that should be "sacred" on a team that always falls short of the playoffs.

Calling anybody a "career Redskin" when Dan Snyder is the owner is laughable. That dude make moves like he's some kid trading football cards.

We are not still paying Lavar Arrington FOH

And if I'm not mistaken Cooley is not a free agent. Get rid of a pro bowl TE for an unproven one and not have any great wideouts? Just dumb

Skins will actually be rewarded by this new CBA due to all the dead weight we cut last year and this year. Bruce Allen knows exactly what he's doing.

These ain't Free Agents bruh, these are players under contract that could be cut for cap relief.

I get what youre saying but Demeco means just as much if not more to the team than AJ. Cutting him would be like cutting Dre'.

Bart Scott was mediocre last year, but hes like the QB of that defense so I dont think he'll be going anywhere....I could see the rest of them niggas gettin cut though.

Shoutout to our genius GM for keeping mcknight over woodhead even though woodhead showed them and us (every1 who watched hardknocks) that he was the better player. dumbass nigga.

You giving up on Mcknight already I haven't he still has alot of talent, more than Danny Woodhead IMO. Let's be honest, Woodhead is a better fit on the Pats and was never gonna get burn on the Jets. I feel Greene and Mcknight are better than him. But I act like I had regrets when they released Woodhead.

i Dont think McKnight has the heart, watching that "Hard Knocks" series dude looks spoiled and ready to quit when things didnt go his way...

and to be honest i honestly believe thats why some of these USC players as of lately aren't working out , they're pretty much living a dream life on campus at Southern Cal, they get what they want , when they want , they're always in the spotlight it's real hollywood there and when it's time to play with grown men in the NFL and compete it seems like they're shell shocked that they actually have to show some shit........they seem thrown back that coaches dont give a fuck that they from USC

McKnight just as soft as the rest of these new USC kids...

Baltimore Ravens

RB- Willis McGahee With the emergence of Ray Rice as one of the best all-around backs in the AFC, Willis McGahee’s days are numbered in Baltimore. He is set to make about 7.5 million in 2011 when all is said and done. Additionally, the Ravens drafted Anthony Allen in April’s draft, and he can take over as Rice’s primary backup. It goes without saying McGahee will hit the open market when free agency begins.

Will he find a starting job? Most likely not. McGahee had career low numbers across the board in 2010 and will be 30 in October. Some team will make a play for him as a solid back up contributor, but not as a starter at this point in his career.

WR- Derrick Mason It seems as though Mason is redefining the aging process. At 37 years old, he is still a solid NFL receiver as evidenced by his solid 61 catch performance in 2010. That said, Mason is set to make nearly 5 million dollars in 2011 and the Ravens have multiple young receivers they are looking to get into the fold behind Bolden. Torrey Smith and James Hardy come to mind first. It is unlikely the Ravens part ways with their long time receiver, but the possibility still remains.

TE- Todd Heap The Ravens have younger cheaper options in Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta at the TE position. Heap is no longer a top tier TE and is set to make 4.5 million this season. I think that if Baltimore is looking to cut cap room in order to upgrade at other positions, Heap may be the first casualty.

DL- Kevin Gregg With Terrence Cody, Haloti Ngata and Cory Redding in the mix, Kevin Gregg may be the odd man out. He will be entering his 12th season and is set to make 3.5 million in 2010. As much as Baltimore fans would like to see Gregg finish his career in a Raven, it is unlikely that happens. Some team running a 3-4 defense will take a shot with him this off-season.

I dont see baltimore giving Heap the axe, hes as much a fan favorite as Reed/Suggs and for a developing QB like Joe, a reliable security blanket at TE can really help his confidence. No one else is sold on Dickson and Pitta being able to replace someone like Heap even at this stage of his career, its like you'd need to put both punks on the field at the same time to get what you would want from one end on a single play. Seeing how well other rookie TE's taken after Dickson played makes it that much worse

one plus From a shortened offseason will mean if/when free agency starts? It will be an all out frenzy. Dudes signing the day it begins (which would indicate some violations), dudes will be cut ASAP, these guys won't be waiting weeks to make "tours" and teams will overpay for guys in the open market. Can't wait.

Werd. Shit will be goat.

Will be a lot of BAD, BAD, BAD deals being signed. Desperate teams will be overpaying big time 'cause the shit will be like a ebay auction in the last seconds, lol.

Nnamdi Asomugha will have 30% ownership in the Houston Texans and $21 Million a year contract. lol

Jacksonville Jaguars

QB- David Garrard: The former Pro Bowl quarterback is set to make nearly 10 million dollars in base plus bonuses in 2011. The Jaguars spent their 1st round pick on Blaine Gabbert, but don't expect the rookie to start immediately. That said, Del Rio has said that he will evenly distribute snaps between the two when training camp starts. The Jaguars could release or trade Garrard and find a cheaper veteran alternative to groom Gabbert, who is their future starting quarterback.

FB- Greg Jones: He is set to make 3.3 million in 2011 and the Jaguars have other options at the fullback position. I have always been a fan of Jones as a hybrid back and he will get a lot of play on the free agent market if released. One thing is for sure, unless Jones agrees to a pay cut he will not be playing in Jacksonville in 2011. I think a player of his versatility could intrigue San Francisco at the fullback position.

DE- Derrick Harvey: The Jaguars have been extremely disappointed by the player of the former 1st round pick. He has only 8 sacks in 47 career games and is set to make nearly 3 million in 2011. The Jaguars would love to see him breakout this season, but their patience is growing thin at this point. If Harvey doesn't show anything more in training camp, expect the Jaguars to cut their losses with the former #8 overall pick from the 2008 draft.

Not too bad. We should keep Jones tho........

We dont need cap relief. We are 45 milli under the cap already. Like I said before we handled that situation over the last 2 offseasons, Bruce Allen is a beast with contracts.

I wouldn't call him a *beast*. I mean, to me a beast would be someone who manages to sign good players that play well and lead the team to victory while the GM still manages to juggle the contracts and keep cap space.

Maintaining cap space on a losing team *should* be easy. Saying Allen is a beast for that is like saying a 2nd grader is a beast for being able to color a coloring book inside the lines and say his ABC's. lol.

Kinda what you supposed to do.
