You're right about the syllables and having a name that flows smoothly together. It don't really go together.
But, they did choose some pretty good colors to market. That navy, scarlet red & gold (which I'm assuming will be their new colors) is a pretty good color scheme. Those Cavs jerseys when LBJ was on the team were all over the place. I can see an Anthony Davis jersey selling well over time.

Yeah, the color combination is cool too. And the overall design is not bad either. The artists did the best they could with that wack ass name. I'll give'em that.

I get why most in NOLA are warming up to it cuz what can you do? But I don't like the name. Don't mean I won't watch or support but shit I know plenty of Wiz fans up here that refuse to buy merchandise but they'll go to the games. Lol I liked Brass the most would brought back the musical influence but I dont know if voodoo would have gone well with the public

It would have cuz the people in NOLA bought a shit load of that merchandise when Benson owned them. They loved the team and the logo. When there was talk that VooDoo might be a consideration my uncle down there was hype cuz he already has some merchandise and was ready to rock it at the Basketball games.
