damn this shit tough. they've both had hits in hip-hop, rnb, and pop. I gotta think on this one, especially if it's just their production and not their own music as well

That's pretty much my stance on the matter. The only thing that I think could possibly make them better is if they joined forces and make their own production duo. I can only imagine the crazy ass sounds they'd give up as a tandem.

They’ve both got hits in various genres of music but I’m going with P, simply because he isn’t rocking a Gandalf goatee at this moment in time like my mans Tim.

They had a group together back in the day called SBI ( surrounded by idiots), tracks are out there if you look.

"Big white spaceship" is a highlight.

TIMBALAND IS A TALENTED PRODUCER...

HE DOES GOOD POP & CLASSIC 90'S R&B...

BUT HIS RAP SHIT IS HIT & MISS...

AND WHEN HE HITS ITS JUST COOL...

HE'S OVERRATED IN MY BOOK...

IN 2013, HE DID MCHG & THAT JUSTIN DOUBLE ALBUM...

BOTH WHICH WERE WHOLE-ASS ...

PHARRELL IS KIND OF IN THE SAME REALM...

EXCEPT I FEEL HIS RAP SHIT IS WAY BETTER THAN TIM'S...

PHARRELL HAS THOSE 2 CLIPSE ALBUMS, MORE CLASSIC ALBUM CUTS & SINGLES.

SO THAT GIVES HIM THE EDGE IMO...

Is it Timbo vs The Neptunes cause that's a toss up.

If it's Tim vs Pharrell than it's not even close. Tim got that.

Pharrell in general, Neptunes included considering his solo productions still have that Neptunes sound so to speak.

Tough choice - but Pharrell wins this one. I'll keep it to strictly music. Both are extremely versatile artists who came up together and were once in a group together. Both had great runs - but the difference is, Pharrell has never stopped being on his run. Pharrell continues to reinvent himself in almost everything. Pharrell has done music for blockbuster franchises, works constantly with new artists, and finds new ways to breathe new life into the game and is always successful at it. Constantly. From The Neptunes as producers and songwriters, to the group N.E.R.D, to Pharrell the solo artist, producer, and hook guy (which is Timbo's weakness, he tried several times to be a 'solo artist' with his albums and they failed to connect). Pharrell's music and musical fingerprint legacy spreads generations.

I'd kill a mumble rapper for an album full of this.
