i dont know if this has been mentioned...but i find it fascinating that some conservative pundits are siding so heavily with the protesters in this case.

the argument is that this is a case of more government control at the expense of trumping of individual rights...i heard on a radio show that some are comparing this to cliven bundy's stance of all thing and that republicans need to capitalize on this in order to gain the minority votes they so desperately need....

it would be crazy (and honestly the bigger story) if a political party is able to gain a small yet significant portion of the black voter base based on a clearly wrongful death and botched investigation...

It's low down, but it's makes sense in my opinion. I ain't surprised to hear that at all.

However, blacks need to do more than just give them votes when they need them. We come up with a plan for what we want, provide some funding, and give our vote.

I'm not saying all blacks should choose such and such party. Just that whatever party you side with, the people with you need to put they money where they mouth is while voting. As Quincy Jones once said, "You have to know your money has power."

There's a reason these guys get campaign contributions.

Don't expect the police to be found guilty of using excessive force. Shit is depressing but if we are being real the media are already turning the theft into "he deserved it" instead of focusing on what happened at the stop, and why was he shot when he was running away according to witnesses
