I thought I heard back in the day about the Jada vs Beans beef that it started because Jadakiss got on rap city the basement and started talking about all of philly tryna sound like him or something to that effect and Beans jumped up after that and dissed him with bars at a powerhouse concert.

Because for the life of me i dont know how the Ja Rule vs 50 cent started. The homie told me back in the day Ja threw Fif some shade at a video shoot but the cat that told me was a known for exaggerations type of nigga.

And i forgot how the Jermaine Dupri vs Dr. Dre and the Quik vs Mc eiht shit started too.

As far as the Ja vs 50 beef goes, I thought it started like this;

Ja Rule and 50 were from the same neighborhood. Ja Rule was more clean cut and 50 Cent was more of a thug.

When Ja blew up he was rapping about being a thug and making videos of him being in jail. Ja had the tattoos and bandanas trying to portray the image of a tough guy. But that used to make 50 Cent mad because he knew Ja Rule, they grew up in the same neighborhood and 50 knew Ja wasn't really a thug or a gangsta. In reality, it was 50 that sold drugs and went to jail, 50 was in the streets doing the work while Ja Rule was clean cut.

So as Ja Rule got more popular, 50 got more and more disgusted in how Ja was portraying himself.

I also heard a story that before 50 Cent got put on, Ja Rule was shooting a video in their neighborhood. 50 Cent tried to walk up to Ja and give him a pound and Ja Rule kinda brushed him off. That scene was in Get Rich Or Die Trying.
