Why cop a wii from the pawn shop when you can just buy a wii u. It's backwards compatible.

Because I'm not trying to spend Wii U money. I'm basically in for the experience of Skyward Sword and Mario Bros. After that, it'll do what my GameCube did after Twilight Princess: Sit there.

Hell, if I could get an emulator to play Skyward Sword, I wouldn't even buy it.

When was this?

What industry analysts have been saying is that the home console market is as good as dead out in Japan. Looking at this weeks Japan software/hardware sales figures it seems like they were on the money too. Neither Sony nor Nintendo could revitalize that market out in their home turf and it's been this way for years now.

I just got a PS4 yesterday from a Gamestop promotion. I turned in my 360 console 250gb+ and got $150 towards the purchase of PS4 plus 50% credit towards every game I turned in. Paid $145 out the door. Sony needs to get on the ball an start dropping some games I'm not talking about remastered editions from PS3 either.
