Those were the days- the golden era of basketball. Obviously I'm biased. Bulls Dynasty. The rivalries were heated. My brother and mom a Knick fan and my dad, my older brother and I were Bulls fan and it used to cause fights/arguments. I swear we wouldn't talk for days still upset about a loss. Playoffs were no joke. I miss them days- physical and brutal east coast. The brawls, close games, jordan fadeaways, the oakley flagrant fouls, the trashtalking, the coaching duels.
The league got talent out the atmosphere nowadays but the feeling don't feel the same. There's still the great individual matchups like Kobe vs Bron, Bron v. Wade etc But them days had Knicks vs Bulls, Knicks vs Pacers/Heat; Bulls vs Jazz, Pacers, whoever.
That Pippen dunk was too ill, but what made it even iller was what came after- the stand over a fallen foe after asking him to eat deez nuts facial exemplified exactly the Bulls Knicks rivalry was about. The Jordan move was just smooth- duping two knicks and then finishing it off with a facial over your friend is ill as well.
