It's obvious niggas can't read. The thing says "artist", not "rapper". Jay-Z raps, Pimp C rapped, sang, not only produced, but produced using live instruments. Yes Jay is the better rapper, but Ray Allen is also a better shooter than Kobe Bryant, but that nigga Ray ain't an overall better player than Kobe.

Ok, lets be real here. First off, if Pimp C was a singer then so is eminem, 50 cent and ja rule. If you go to any professional voice coach and present a tape of Pimp singing, they will laugh you out the room. You acting as if he was tyrese/black ty or whatever the hell he called himself.

Pimp produce and did it well. However, in the music business, people are judged heavily by impact and success. Can you name any mega successful song produced by Pimp? You're not talking about Kanye, here. The same with hooks. Funny thing about hooks is, the most successful song associated with Pimp had Jay-z doing the hook. Ironic.....Lastly, the astronomical gap between the lyrical skiill of Jay vs Pimp, surely negates this entire thread.....
