They need "budget" private jets. Commercial is too problematic

2 people cosigned this!

I heard a stat saying an Airbus plain lands every TWO seconds every day in the world. 30 planes landed in the time it took me to right this!

This tragedy is a statistical anaomoly. Its winning he lottery twice. A very, very sad tragedy, but dude, private planes are waaaaay riskier than commercial

A commercial flight is safer than driving 10 miles up the street. I could go on but people, pkease, stop saying dumb shyt

Just get rid of pilot control and let machines fly the plane the pilot should only be there in case of malfunction.

Cold weather and magnetic fields could fuck that up immediately.....or skynet

imo we are facing once again our limit when it comes to SECURITY AND HUMAN PSYCHOLOGY; through my studies i ve learned that SUDDEN DEPRESSION can lead you to suicide. that can happen to people who used to be normal.

when it comes to let artificial intelligence piloting, i'm ok yet what about cyberterrorist and hackers?

i saw on the local news this morning this isn't the first time a co pilot deliberately crashed a passenger plane. they said there was 5 other incidences of this happening since 1976.

With the amount of air traffic plus the vectoring that needs to be done that would never be possible

Too bad there is no video of how he was reacting, when he realized he wasn't going to get in, and the plane was about to crash.

"Naaoooo."

"Open the damn door, goddammit!"

That is exactly what I am telling you! I am an air traffic controller so I know how the air traffic system operates. Imagine working somewhere like ATL which is, if not the busiest airport in the world. Controllers are constantly talking and relaying instructions to pilots. Margin for error is small and if there is a mistake that shit needs to be corrected asap! Check out this youtube video...don't worry about all the terminology just listen to all the information being given.

So....you're an advocate for losing your job and allowing for computers to takeover huh

Should have jumped off golden gate when he took that picture. But no like the fuck boy he is he managed to get enough courage to off himself when he held the lives of 149 others in his hand.

S/n, its amazing how some of us have common sense and dont need to knowa thing about airplanes to know you cant have it 100% computerized

Speaking of kneejerk reactions, nggas gotta realize what u saying here. Basically

'Man, we need to figure out a way to override and get in that cockpit.' Really?

Pilots been saying that, what's the point of having the override code inside the cockpit, and basically not just for this but if one pilot has a medical emergency in the cockpit while the other is out what then

From what i heard on the news in the states its mandatory 2 people are in the cockpit at all times? If you go to the bathroom the stewardess has to fill in for you in the cockpit? Europe has no such rule/procuderes.

@Cp203 you seen they quickly adopted this rule lol smh Took 150 lives to do it

So there u have it. Fastest route between 2 points is a straight line. Nggas wanna overhaul how we fly planes meanwhile 2 people in the cockpit and the unpenetrable cockpit door is simpmle and the best bet to cover both interior and exterior threats
