The shirt doesn't bother me so much but for everyday wear you should put a white undershirt with it, and some nice relaxed fit jeans in a DARK hue. And most importantly, accessorize!
You could actually go with the hat I have on, that leather wrist band White boys like to wear so much, a pocket chain, and shoes of your choosing. Stay with the simple pants and top and just style it with well chosen accessories. Make sure if the tee is casual that you have a busy belt and vice versa.

that accessory shit is weird to me. Most accessories I ever rock are shades my Natl championship ring. I usually only wear undershirts if I have a polo on.

All that outfit is missing is a nice belt and hat.
