I really wanted to like this album, being a fan of Monch since the Organized Konfusion days, being one of the few rap acts I;ve had the pleasure of seeing live (dope show too, very lively), but this album was just a lot of "meh" to me. Didn't really captivate me and I felt little desire to revisit much of it after a few listens. Disappointing , to say the least.

I Dont think it lived up to the expectation i had for it....

After Desire was a great, (near classic maybe?) cd.

This has a couple of great tracks, but for me no real replay value and i cant get into it...

I Dunno if anybody else thinks this?

I'm with both of you on this one, I liked it, but that's all really. I never revisited it as much as I would have thought I would have...

But it dropped when CunninLynguists dropped, I never had this over their album anyway.... but still, Pharoahe has an incredible catalog and the album is far from wack... just that the production never reached the heights of Black Hand Side or the quality really. He still has one of the nastiest flows ever.

Yeah, this dropping same time as Oneirology didn't help. Oneirology dominated my listening for weeks while WAR got pushed to the background. Perhaps I'll give it a revisit some time later the year, but I don't expect to hear anything that will make me change my mind.
