LOL @ me being bitter you act like i'm a Raiders fan. Point is that the tuck rule is the dumbest rule in the NFL right now and it cost the Raiders that game. it should have been a fumble, and the Raiders would have ran the clock out and won. That's a fact.

The Rooney Rule is a dumb rule but yet it hasn't been changed. There are plenty of dumb rules in the NFL. The tuck rule just happens to be the dumbest. It makes absolutely no sense, and it's the reason why the Pats won their 1st SB.

so the tuck rule was called in SB 01 vs the rams..the tuck rule made kurt warner throw a few pics to the pats dee.. the tuck rule was on the field when brady and the offensive drove down the field and put up 3...my point....

the pats still had to go onto the field and beat the rams..whether it was a blown call..b.s. rule or whatever...ish happens all the time in sports.....ppl need to suck it up and deal with it.....they earn their win...point blank..that's a fact...and it can't be argued cuz flat out if they werent good..they wouldn't have gone on to win 2 more....seee winning 2 more kind of puts a lid onto ur whole agruement...

Yes they still had to beat the Rams, but that horrible rule allowed them the chance to make it to the Super Bowl. Take away the tuck rule, they don't get the chance to make it that far. their season should have ended against the Raiders.
