What I said still stands Young Dolph is not making black empowerment music so it wasn't like Pete was "hating" on a brother trying to uplift black people through his music. Dolph is rapping about killing black people and dealing drugs to black people. So you can't call Pete a coon for that and try to justify it by saying why Pete never called out Eminem. By that logic you can call out 99.9% of the hip hop community for the same shit. That's why I said what you were saying doesn't make sense.

Who cares if Dolph music ain't uplifting Dolph is still a blk man doing blk musik wit a lane n hip hop rather u or Pete like it or not.....& inever called Pete a coon I said he got a slave mentality like 90% of the blk industry rappers cuz he wanna hate on the blk man n blk musik & let the shady racist nigger hating cracka Klansmen live

You niggas act like y'all wasn't kids when you did most of the illegal shit you did or got introduced to most of the fuck shit you know about

Especially niggas with big Brothers and uncles and shit

Nigga make 1 beat and have y'all forgetting your own childhood

"Nah man lil man shouldn't have been there, these new niggas don't know when to say this is grown man business blah blah blah"

Cut the shit

Stfu ny rappers has been pushing this coke image to the kids long b4 Dolph dummy... that's y Pete is a hater cuz he never said shit bout the coke boys & poopy cuz they r from ny

Yung Dolph and Pete Rock aren't in the same league. Pete is a 1st ballot Hall of Famer and Dolph couldn't make varsity.

Honestly, they don't even play the same game. Pete is a musician by trade and Dolph is a hustler. Getting money is cool, but Dolph will be gone and forgotten in a few years then replaced by some other "young" so and so. Pete will always be here. You guys are on that "what have you done for me lately" myopic shit. You're not looking to the future at all and want your shit right now. Pete will be able to live off his craft whereas Dolph will be back out there doing the shit he rapped about. I hope Dolph gets lots of money right now, but his music is disposable,.

What you're saying makes little to no sense. You're talking about Pete Rock is "hating" on a black man getting money. While Pete Rock is "cooning" for white men. As if Young Dolph is out here making black empowerment music. Foh.

Bitch plz dolph has a lane n hip hop rather u clowns believe it or not..... Dolph is a blk man doing blk musik Pete needs 2 b worried about culture vulture racist crackas like feminem before a blk man like Dolph

Your bitch ass is still ducking that Farm-Fresh fade. And per usual, you're conflating shit and obsessing over Eminem.

A whole lot people on here are talking about "well, Dolph is getting money." Like that shit precludes him from any type of criticism constructive or not. Stop acting like all this shit happens in a vacuum.

Nah it don't take him away from any criticism but it also doesn't give Pete Rock carte blanche to criticize whoever he wants with no backlash from it

Some of you young/dumb niggas need to figure out how to articulate another response, other than, "He's hatin." when someone says a certain person's music is wack.

It is possible to say, "I'm glad the nigga ain't out here on some illegal shit gettin his bread, but the nigga's music is trash." Any black man that's out here, gettin his shit together, is to be commended, but that doesn't mean you can't criticize his music.

Jeezy, T.I., Jay are all ex-hustlers that came out with quality music. There are no excuses for niggas putting out this bullshit, so stop tryna defend the fuckery.

Nah, sum of yall need to learn how to articulate

you can say "I don't like his music cuz xyz", that's fine... everything ain't for everybody

but sum of yall are like "he's trash, it's garbage!!" as if it's impossible & unthinkable sum folks like his music... that's hatred

I don't like his music because it's trash. That's not hating, bruh. If it's trash, it's trash. If you, or anybody else, wanna be Oscar the Grouch, then that's fine as well.

Just because some of y'all are ok with the bar being lowered doesn't mean everyone is.

Lol bruh, that's like the textbook definition of hate

jus leave it at "I don't like his music"

when you do that extra shit "he's trash & anyone who likes it is trash too!!" is pure unadulterated hatred

but you're so blinded by hate you can't see it

& cut that elitist shit like your opinion is fact

Naw nigga it's trash to YOU. What you say is trash dont make it law.

"Just because some of y'all are ok with the bar being lowered doesn't mean everyone is." is a pretty cut-and-dry statement.

If you're not comfortable with being able to accept that sentiment, then maybe you should re-evaluate why it makes you uncomfortable.

Not everyone is as concerned with Eminem as you and Shady Team. We don't all think like you fucking weirdos. And if Eminem was like "aye Dolph, let's make a collaborative project" tomorrow, then Dolph would be doing that tomorrow. Dolph isn't out here upholding the integrity of the culture or the music "because he's getting money." And I know you live through these rappers, but they aren't moving as you see fit because they aren't you.

And Pete Rock can do whatever the fuck he wants. I don't care who he gives a beat too, because he gave us enough shit and more than Dolph ever has or will.

Somebody ban this piece of shit @gee757 for fucking up another thread.

Got much luv for Pete Rock (great producer), but it's random that he picked YD out.... I'm pretty sure he doesn't even know the context of Dolph's lyrics or album in that clip....

I think he took it as Dolph was sayin' he's on powder and proud of it (lol) when that's not the case. The song and album is called "Rich Crack Baby". He's said numerous times while he has came up in the game that his parents were on dope when he was conceived. He was raised by his grandma and eventually helped them shake the habit and he's beeen moved them out the hood years ago. Hell, he's never even sold cocaine.

As for the little kid, we don't know who's kid it is or who brought him. I'm not saying I would have him out there, but it's the hood, I'd imagine little man has heard far worse.

Its some in here mad at that. I see these are the types I dont fck with in real life. They Hate to see a young black man come up legally and make something of himself against the odds. They carry negativity and dont wanna see no one do better than them. The type to leave where they at. Good sht from dude tho to make these moves and get that legal money. Some of these clowns jealous and bitter fck livin like that.

Has nothing to do with how he makes his money, bruh. Has everything to do with the quality of music. They're not necessarily intertwined. Get that through your dense skull.

Music is for those who like it. There is music I dont listen to also. For instance since he been mentioned on here a lot, I think a lot of Lil Wayne raps are incoherent and go no where. Im not hating though. Why would I get mad if someone likes his music? I fck with some of it myself. So just understand that different people like dude's music if its not you then its not for you. Why do you even care? Doesnt make sense except you just feel some type of way about dude doing his thing.

Oh yeah had to mention California thats another big song dude was on. Thats feel good music. People out here ride out, dance, laugh, smile, get money to stuff like that. Why sit in a corner miserable hating? Nobody cares or wanna hear your negativity obviously. If it aint for you it aint for you. Dolph aint for you and thats it.
