I agree. Most are psychopaths who are not able to empathize have been severally traumatized in their childhood by rape, emotional and psychical abuse, or seeing a parent being brutally murdered.

We would have no way since psychopaths are known liars and deceivers. They are hard to find in society cause they do not reveal themselves and have very low fear receiptors and emotional response. Socipaths = Nuture, intense trauma at an early age and low socializing.

Psychopaths = Nature, might be hereditary, brain is process enough to understand fear, anxiety, empathy, etc.

I show empathy when it's truly warranted. The world is not as cold as people make it out to be, alot of people just do really really stupid shit or they're caught up in dumb ass situations and it makes it really hard for you to feel bad for them. A lot of people are just giving you the game how it was given to them. if no body cared about them, how can you expect them to care about someone else.

People who expect empathy for trivial shit annoy me. These are usually the overly dramatic personalities. They try to coax you into expressing empathy verbally. When I sit there with the blank "move on" stare I begin to smell the fumes of a burning soul. Some of them handle it well and learn to cut that shit out when dealing with me though.
