when i used to listen to guys like papoose, crooked i, cory gunz, etc. i thought he was the sickest lyricist i'd ever heard. still think he puts the most thought into his lyrics out of almost any of those guys but he still only raps about sellin crack, shooting people, and how cool he is. and since the mainstream cares more about swag or whatever they push these days, pap will never blow up there. he needs to go underground and change his content a little bit. do an album with alchemist or 9th wonder or someone like that. thats the only way he'll really make a classic. because nacirema dream was terrible. nice freestyle as far as freestyles go.

yea, and its apparent that pap really wants to be accepted by the mainstream audience. but i highly doubt that his style will ever be compatible with it, or if the cycle ever comes back to new york street shit, he'll be too old. i mean he shoots enough videos to show that he makes money off what he does, so that may not be incentive to go underground, i just think he'd be more accepted on a national level if he did something like that.
