We can compare classics: let's put Southernplayalistic beside Illadelph Halflife; Atliens beside Things Fall Apart; and/or Aquemini beside How I Got Over. I think musically The Roots have more to offer as far as range and content and their catalog is richer. Black Thought is top 5, Andre and Big Boi are maybe Top 20.

OK so last night I steamed an L and listened to the mix you put up. Its certainly good music, it's well produced and its creative, but due to my East Coast bias I just prefer The Roots. Thats my personal opinion.

There's something about East Coast MCs that, when they go hard (nh) they go in harder. Maybe its the difference between an East Coast accent and a Southern accent but I prefer East Coast MCs.

And I suppose that Southerners prefer Southern MCs.
