Outkast>>>>>>>>T.I., Lil Wayne, UGK, Geto Boys, Ludacris, Rick Ross, and anyone else from the south, and most of the rappers from anywhere else on the map too.

The most innovative hip hop group of all time!

I've been on an Outkast binge lately and damn, the music speaks for itself.

Also, who's with me on the Idlewild soundtrack being mad underrated?? That album is a classic!

I think I can agree with this, except I might say Outkast and Geto Boys were equal. Other than that yeah

Compare catalogs...how many classic albums do the Geto Boys have? The Resurrection and Til Death do us Part are their best albums and I wouldn't call either a classic (not to mention each album has a different member). Now I'm not saying they aren't pioneers for southern rap, they definitely are. Mind Playin' Tricks on Me is one of my all time favorite hip hop songs. But Outkast has arguably never released an album that isn't a classic. They do have weak tracks here and there, but the majority of their work is phenomenal. I feel where you are coming from though and respect your opinion if you feel they are equal.

i'd rather listen to some UGK over outkast any day and i think even as solo artist pimp n bun > 3stacks n Big...i can just relate to UGK better then i can outkast

tbh tho i think scarface is the illest to ever do it in the south

nowhere near classic(quit throwing around that word) but big boi has some ridiculous tracks on there everyone should check out:

Morris Brown

Mighty O

In Your Dreams

Peaches

Call The Law

Buggface

N2U

For some reason I really like PJ & Rooster too

but that track The Train is truly classic

Outkast is the best, but back in the day, I thought Goodie Mob was neck and neck with them. Southerplayalistic = Soul Food and ATLiens = Still Standing. Outkast pulled away with Aquemeni.

That said, UGK and 8Ball & MJG are right there with them as far as all time Hip Hop duos go. Hell, haters can front, but a lot of the best duos come from the South. You can go ahead and add Field Mob, Dirty, and the Clipse to the above.

There is not a bad song on the entire album, hence = classic

I think they're good, but UGK and the Geto Boys were just as good arguably better. I'd prefer to listen to UGK over all of them. They just made more songs I could relate too.
