I went 4 pages deep and it seems to me that dude is insecure and bc of his gf's past he wants to do his dirt and throw it in her face. Like some kind of 'get even' with her situation.

The fact that she cried about it when u told her says its either not gonna work out long term or shes gonna stay and be bitter and u guys will fight about it all the time.

If everything about her is perfect except for what she did before she met u I dont see why u cant commit.

Not that suggesting an open relationship is wrong but the reasoning for not committing sounds off.

You can call it what you like. Whatever the reasoning is, that's how I feel. Does it really matter why if she makes me feel that way?

Whatever it is you want to say that's making me think like this. I wouldn't feel right committing all the way with this one.

I got another 5-7 years of untapped potential before I cash out. This is my way of putting off that time. I'll have more money by then, I'll have more options by then, I'll be more ripe by then. But if she wants a kid with me in that time possibly, and it does happen... as I don't want her getting abortion or anything like that, I guess you can say this is my insurance policy for the future.
