u have to realize that Kemps stats were impacted by the otherr great players on his team he had Shrepmf, Payton, Mcmillian, Pierce Mckkey Johnson etc.. so he wasnt gonna average 25 a game.... Blake was the Clippers team most of last year. as of right now Kemp is who he reminds me of which isnt a bad thing

Fallacies.. the nigga was sharing scoring duties with Gordon, plus he didnt even have the caliber of pg runnin the offense like Kemp had with GP, he also didnt have marksmen on the perimeter like Kemp had with Nate, Detlef, and Hersey so that he couldnt be doubled in the post.. put him on that Sonics team and he's even more of an animal, and we will see that this year with CP3 running the show. And I see you said Kemp had a better J, well Blake is still young and his backboard shot is steadily improving so i think its safe to say he will also be the better shooter of the 2, eventually.

no lies.... Baron was hurt got traded. Gordon also was hurt last year. Griffin was the focal point of their team. Kemp got his points but the ball had to be spread around and Seattle was a run and run team he didnt get a whole lotta post looks early in his carerr. shit changed in the mid 90s. Kemps J is better and u cant assume Griffin will be the better shooter of the 2 until he does.... and with todays rules he would get what 5-8 extra free throws a game

Now, we can debate who is better til i got 100 post, but the fact is that you're not gonna change my mind and vice versa, however, Blake still has a long career ahead of him and only time will tell who will end up being the better player.. if im a betting man, my money is on Blake.

for sho agree to disagree... Im just not the type put guys on pedastals and over past great/good players so early.... Kemp had a real good career before drinking and weight killed it. Blake has had 1 year. So until he has 6-7 years of that its not fair to do that. a lot can happen injuries etc

Blake Griffin will be better than Kemp they do have similar skill sets though...Shawn Kemp used to stay carrying though. Blake has a much better handle, more hops, and more potential defensively
